My goal of this Shokz StarCraft 2 review is to help out those that are looking to get some sort of edge to compete with top gamers. I have just purchased StarCraft 2 and found that I am just not as good as I once used to be so I took some action and started doing some research.
You have probably discovered by now that if you are going to get to reach diamond in StarCraft 2 then you need some help. The most frustrating thing about playing online games is getting trashed over and over by the competition. To be honest with you I just wanted to get ahead of my friends. This is where the Shokz StarCraft 2 guide can help out. You can find plenty of tips by doing a search in Google, but the Shokz strategy guide is the most complete resource I have found.
When you begin your search for StarCraft 2 secrets, you will find that there is one source that really stands out above the rest. The Shokz StarCraft 2 guide was created by a diamond level player that achieved this status during the beta release of the game. This guide has tips and strategies from other top players in the world that dominate the battle net ladders.
The Shokz guide is very newbie friendly. It offers great tips that are easy to follow and offers a dictionary with all of the necessary terms someone just starting out needs to know. I liked the fact that there is also a guide for campaign play as well as plenty of videos to help out. The members area is constantly being updated and new strategies and videos are posted on a regular basis. This really sets the Shokz StarCraft 2 guide apart from the rest out there.
Here are just a few of the things that you will get in the Shokz guide:
- Beginners guide
- Team guide
- Strategies for each race
- Advanced strategies
- Campaign walk through
- Constantly updated members area
- 60 day money back guarantee
There are other guides out there and I did find good information for beginners in those guides but the Shokz StarCraft 2 guide has enough information both beginners and experts.
Developed by Blizzard Entertainment, the Game StarCraft 2 - Wings of Liberty is a military science fiction real-time strategy video game. This sequel to the award-winning 1998 video game StarCraft is probably one of the most anticipated games to be released the last decade. Now that it is here, you can continue where the last game left off.
The StarCraft 2 campaign storyline takes place four years after StarCraft: Brood War. Many characters from the original have returned; including Zeratul, Arcturus Mengsk, Artanis, Sarah Kerrigan, and Jim Raynor. Also many worlds from the original will be a part of the sequel, like Char, Mar Sara, and Braxis; as well as new worlds, such as the jungle planet Bel’Shir. Once again the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg will do battle across the galaxy in the game StarCraft 2, as each faction struggles for survival.
Experienced and new gamers alike will appreciate the simple yet highly enjoyable gameplay. The game StarCraft 2 is much faster than the original. Resource gathering, building, researching and expanding all go faster now. This is something that will appeal to most. The factions are well balanced and the units perfectly valued. You gather minerals and vespene gas, you build your defenses, you upgrade, you expand, you gather your forces and send your troops in to unleash hell. Repeat as needed until satisfied.
Some of the features that the game StarCraft 2 – Wings of Liberty has to offer:
* Single-player campaign or multiplayer available
* Full map-making and scripting tools give players freedom in customizing and personalizing their gameplay experience
Visually the game is stunning and has incredible details. The story moves along nicely with the use of video in the single player mode. But as with most games there are always downfalls. One thing that will frustrate players is that you only get one third of the game. The others two parts will be released later most likely with an equal price tag attached. Something else that proves to be frustrating is the security feature placed on the product. This game is locked down tight. You have to activate the game with a security code and every thirty days you have to re-activate the game. If you can get past these inconveniences then you will be sure to enjoy the game. This is one game that was definitely worth the wait.
Before you buy Starcraft 2 you should know a few things first.
If you buy StarCraft 2, you will find an outstanding game with great detail that does every bit of justice and more to the award winning original game. But if you were a big fan of the original then you will most likely discover soon enough that there are some things missing.
Don’t worry, the game still takes place on many of the worlds that were present in the original, and the many of the favorite characters are returning as well. Of course the Terran, Zerg, and Protoss races are present to do their best to survive by wiping out the other races.
So what is missing? Well for starters you are only getting a third of the game with a full game price tag. I believe that this comes down to greed on the part of Activision-Blizzard. This is the most highly anticipated game of the decade and the makers of the game plan on getting as much as they can out of it by only allowing you to have the Terran campaign to begin with. I’m sure that the others will be released with the same price tag on each one. It is a great game and they know that people will pay so the risk of losing fans of the game is low.
Another issue that lands on Activision-Blizzard’s desire to squeeze out every cent they can get is the control over the game. Technically when you buy the game it never really becomes yours since you have to enter an activation code to begin which also involves signing up to BattleNet, and then about every thirty day you need to re-activate the game. This goes on forever so make sure you don’t lose your activation code.
If you take a look at the system requirements then you will see that a broadband connection is required to play. This goes back to the need to re-activate the game. Unlike other games that require you to be online constantly in order to play, you can play StarCraft 2 offline, but you need to sign in to your computer as a guest to do this. You can save your progress, but you won’t be able to update your progress to your BattleNet account later.
One other item that needs to be brought to your attention. If you are a fan of the original game the you probably recall the spawning feature that allowed you to take your CD to a friends house, spawn the game on their PC and start a LAN party. That feature is absent from the game StarCraft 2. This basically means that each of your friends that you play the game with has to own their own copy of the game.
When the original StarCraft game came out, the spawning feature was important to make the game an instant viral gaming classic. Everyone soon learned just how great of a game it was because when someone recommended the game to a friend, they could actually give that person immediate access to it so they could try it out and find out how great it is on their own. Let’s face it, everyone has been waiting for the sequel so there is no need to convince the public to buy it. Time for the makers to cash in and they are going to make up for giving out all of those free copies of the original StarCraft.
You have to decide for yourself if you are going to let these things stop you from buying the game StarCraft 2. Most likely if you have already bought the game if you are a fan of the original. I don’t blame you, it is a great game and has a lot of other great features that will keep you entertained for hours. You can find plenty of StarCraft 2 reviews out there that will tell you all about the game if you might be having second thoughts after reading this, but I felt it was important to let you know before you buy StarCraft 2.
